Rediscover Granville 2.010 takes place every weekend this summer, starting July 3 and ending September 6, with activites happening throughout the day. Until buses return for the start of school, Granville Street downtown is closed to traffic all summer, and open to the public as a community space for five blocks between Smithe and Hastings.

Keeping vehicles off of the street will open Granville up for people to play, walk, shop and relax. Scheduled programming on the street also creates a unique opportunity for healthy recreational activity to take place in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Rediscover Granville 2.010 has an exciting mix of free events and activities taking place every weekend including:

• Dancing
• Art lessons
• Concerts
• Street hockey
• Markets
• Exhibits

There are also plenty of spaces to kick back, relax and socialize, with increased public seating and extended business patios down the street. There’s something for everyone to do this summer on Granville.
